Yame · Japan × Copenhagen · Denmark

Drink the quiet.
Live with intention.

Rare Japanese tea rituals and test-based wellness for modern lives. A meeting of Yame’s patient craft and Copenhagen’s calm clarity — curated for people who want beauty they can feel and choices they can understand.

Less noise. Better rituals. Clearer choices.
The north star

“Luxury is not excess. It is the rare feeling that nothing is missing.

NORD & CHA brings together two disciplines that rarely share the same table: the sensory intelligence of Japanese tea and the quantified discipline of test-based nutrition. One teaches presence. The other invites you to measure before you assume.

Japan

Craft, seasonality, precision, patience and respect for the ingredient.

Denmark

Hygge, functional beauty, clean design and the art of enough.

Tea

A pause you can taste — from vivid Yame matcha to clear sencha and roasted hojicha.

Wellness

A calmer proposition: test what can be measured, understand the label, then decide.

The Japanese tea edit

Three teas. Three states of mind.

The collection is designed as a day in three movements: a focused beginning, a lucid afternoon, and a warm descent into evening. Ask for the current batch, harvest information, origin and preparation guidance before ordering.

Yame · Matcha

Stillness, whisked.

Velvety, umami-forward and made for the moment when you stop consuming the morning and begin inhabiting it.

Ritual · Focus · Umami · Vivid green
Sencha · Green tea

Clarity, steeped.

Bright, clean and quietly complex — a transparent cup for desk-side focus, conversation or a Copenhagen afternoon.

Fresh · Vegetal · Balanced · Everyday precision
Hojicha · Roasted tea

Warmth, roasted.

Toasty, comforting and contemplative. The tea equivalent of amber light, wool, rain on the window and nowhere else to be.

Roasted · Nutty · Soft · Evening ritual
Original ritual stories · inspired by Zen themes & Nordic life

Stories are how a product becomes a ritual.

Yame → Copenhagen / Morning

The space between two sips

A professional once measured the morning in notifications. Then the kettle began to dictate the pace. Water. Bowl. Whisk. Ten quiet breaths. Nothing dramatic happened — and that was the point. In Japanese aesthetics, ma is the meaningful interval. In Copenhagen, a winter window can offer the same thing: room enough to hear your own mind.

Copenhagen / Late afternoon

The candle and the second steep

The Danish table does not need to be extravagant to feel abundant. One candle. One cup. One person who is actually present. Sencha becomes an invitation to notice the second steep: softer, different, still valuable. A reminder that a second chapter of life need not imitate the first to be rich.

Home / Evening

The roasted cup

Hojicha arrives without theatre. Its aroma fills the room before the first sip. The day has asked enough questions. The roasted cup asks only one: can this moment be sufficient? Japanese wa evokes harmony; Danish hygge makes harmony domestic. Between them sits a cup you can return to tomorrow.

Evidence-conscious wellness

Not faith. A feedback loop.

If you are skeptical of supplements, good. Skepticism becomes useful when it asks for a label, a measurable baseline, a credible laboratory, and claims that stay inside the evidence.

01

Test

Zinzino’s BalanceTest uses a home dried-blood-spot sample to analyze a fatty-acid profile. According to Zinzino, samples are analyzed anonymously by independent GMP-certified Vitas Analytical Services in Norway.

02

Understand

The result reports 11 fatty acids across multiple markers, including omega-6:3 balance and an omega-3 index. A test can inform a conversation; it is not a diagnosis.

03

Choose

BalanceOil+ combines fish oil with olive oil and vitamin D3. The Danish product page lists 2,478 mg total omega-3 per 12 ml, including 1,283 mg EPA and 683 mg DHA.

04

Reassess

Rather than turning a supplement into an identity, retesting can show whether your measurable fatty-acid profile changed. If your diet already meets your needs, supplementation may not be necessary.

What the evidence does support: EFSA has concluded that 250 mg/day of EPA + DHA is sufficient for the maintenance of normal cardiac function in the context of an appropriate diet. That supports the nutrients — it does not mean any supplement can diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease.
For the thoughtful skeptic

Every reason not to buy deserves an answer.

Trust is built when we are willing to say “you may not need this.”
“Isn’t matcha just expensive green powder?”

Sometimes, yes. “Matcha” alone does not guarantee quality. Origin, cultivar, shading, harvest, milling, storage and freshness matter. Yame has a documented tea tradition and is especially renowned for high-quality shaded teas. Ask us for the exact origin and batch details of what is currently available before deciding.

“Are the tea health claims overhyped?”

They often can be. Green tea naturally contains caffeine and polyphenols such as catechins, but reputable health authorities note that evidence for many broad disease-prevention claims remains inconclusive. We sell tea first for quality, ritual and enjoyment — not as medicine.

“Supplements are just marketing. Why should I trust this?”

Do not trust marketing by default. Read the ingredient label, use official product documentation, look at the testing method, and separate nutrient-level evidence from brand-level claims. The Balance concept is interesting because the blood test introduces measurement into the decision process; that does not make every marketing claim automatically true.

“What if I already eat fatty fish and have a good diet?”

You may not need an omega-3 supplement. That is a valid outcome. Dietary patterns, clinical context and individual needs vary. A supplement should complement — never replace — a varied, balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

“What about medications or medical conditions?”

Speak with a qualified clinician or pharmacist before using supplements when medication or a medical condition may matter. Zinzino specifically advises people taking blood-thinning medication to consult a doctor before using BalanceOil+.

“I hate subscriptions and complicated sales systems.”

Ask for the current one-time purchase and subscription options before buying. We will explain the price, commitment, cancellation terms and what is actually included. No purchase should rely on confusion.

“Why should I buy now instead of someday?”

Because postponing a small, useful ritual rarely creates a better future moment. If the product fits your needs and budget, begin simply. If it does not, do not buy it. Tea batch availability and current Zinzino pricing can change, so confirm them when you are ready — but urgency should never replace judgment.

Important: Food supplements are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent disease. Tea contains naturally occurring caffeine; sensitivity varies. Always follow product labels and professional medical advice where relevant.
